Bio

I am licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.  My experience includes 20 years of work as a psychotherapist providing individual, couple’s, and group psychotherapy.

My graduate degree is in clinical psychology.  Post-graduate work includes 8 years of analytic training through the Interregional Society of Jungian Analysts.  I also have training and experience with psychodynamic, cognitive, and mindfulness-based approaches.  The direction and approach of therapy is related to your individual needs.  I endeavor to meet you where you are and not impose any particular therapeutic model.

In addition to being a therapist, I am also a teacher, giving classes and workshops related to achieving understanding of ourselves and our relationships.  Teaching is part of my psychotherapy approach and people often tell me that they appreciate my ability to help them clarify and make sense of their difficulties.
